Started in 1998, To Die is originally a Hardcorepunk band from Jogjakarta, Indonesia that changing it’s members consecutively here and there and resulting in changes of the band’s musical direction. To Die finally decided to make this band as a sort of an artists collective workshop where there are no fixed rules about who are allowed to do collaboration in the band, with no boundaries on any type of music that they wanted to play at that time. So, anyone will be welcome by To Die if they wishes to do collaboration with them, although of course the attitude that remains is to use a DIY hardcorepunk roots. as for the lyrics, we speak about our life, from our own personal perspective. we think that personal is a political stance too. we like to join on a compilation project or doing a split album with other bands from around the globe as a mean of communication. since communication is the true meaning of hardcorepunk.

I grew up in washington so i know what its like to walk ''hella far'' in the snow ,to the train yard only to get there and discover your stolen,cheap american paint is frozen and blasting out like confetti.Bored with no outlets led me to vandalism,soft drugs and hard music.TOTES captured the essence of that with this album.In a way i wish this record would have came out 12 years ago THIS SHIT FUCKIN DESTROYS,it would have been the perfect soundtrack for my Everett,W.A./Lowel yard/rambo path /ambushing the bulls with rail road rocks to the head days .The larynx ripping,spofford scrub brushed vocals ,the frantic/buzzing guitar mix perfectly with the crazy sprinkler sounding drums(blasts dude!!) and the crushing bass lines to create not just the best fastcore(/bandana(respirator) thrash) albums ive heard lately but one of the best ep's ive heard in general.AND THE ART!!The cover art is something you would see tattoo'd on the back of some russian prisoner locked in the deepest dungeon in the gulag,rad as fuck hand drawn poster art/insert,seattle super sonics logo on the a&b side labels,sword wielding skeleton drinking bong water blah blah blah do yourself a fuckin favor and pick up this ep -t
